This Victorian style potato barrel in a decorative terracotta finish. Made from frost resistant polypropylene for long life. Approx. 60cm high by 43cm diameter. Easy to assemble. It is now possible to grow an amazing crop of delicious new potatoes on your patio or balcony. The secret lies in being able to "earth them up" 2ft (60cm) high, which is impractical in an open garden. Follow the instructions provided and you should be able to grow a bumper crop (or even two crops) in your first season. By planting the first crop early enough in February, you can grow a second crop for harvesting in the autumn. "BIT TRICKY TO PUT TOGETHER BUT A BIT OF BRUTE FORCE AND IGNORANCE IT FITTED. BECAUSE IT SO STRONG AND PORTABLE IT GIVES YOU THE OPPORTUNITY OF STARTING THE POTATOES OFF IN DOORS GIVING AN EARLIER CROP. THE PLANTS ARE GROWING WELL SO HOPEFULLY I WILL HAVE A GOOD CROP COME THE TIME VERY PLEASED."
