The Hedgehog care pack contains a hedgehog shelter, a 100g tray of Spikes Meaty Feast Hedgehog food and our hedgehog care guide

The hedgehog house or Hogitat provides valuable shelter in your garden when the hedgehog can hide away from predators such as cats and dogs and be protected from human activies such as setting of bonfires, garden forks and strimming. The hogitat is made from a sturdy coated steel frame with water-resistant felt roof and natural brushwood finish. The narrow entrance tunnel provides a deterrant to predators and the hogitat may be further camouflaged with branches and foliage.

New for 2014 The hedgehog care pack now contains a sample of Spikes Meaty Feast Hedgehog Food. Spike's Meaty Feast is a complementary food for hedgehogs. Made from meat and animal derivatives, it contains no artifical ingredients, colours or preservative. Tasty and nutritious, the 100g serving portion in its own foil tray is ideal for one hedgehog per night. Meaty Feast may be served on its own or mixed with other hedgefood and always provide fresh water in a shallow bowl.

The fold out laminated hedgehog guide include gives information on hedgehog facts, health, care, feeding, benefits as well as information when you may need to call in the expert hedgehog rescue when things aren't quite right. A percentage of the sales of leaflet goes to the British Hedgehog Preservation Society so you are directly benefiting hedgehogs.

About Wildlife World

To ensure that our designs are fit for purpose, our design team works with an extensive network of wildlife experts to develop unique products which include many innovative features, ensuring that species using the products will gain the fullest benefit from the design to encourage habitation, aid its survival in the wild and in turn contribute to boosting the populations of many insects, birds, mammals & amphibians.

Our products are extensively tested at our base in Chavenage and also in our wildlife woodlands in the heart of Devon. During this testing process we are able to monitor prototype performance and fine-tune features over the test period - this ensures that by the time the product finally goes to market, it is fit for purpose and ready for use by wildlife.
