UK DELIVERY RATES

We use Yodel, Furdeco and The Pallet Network for delivering our orders. Some carriers require a signature on delivery, please be advised that orders are delivered on weekdays only (not bank holidays or weekends). Some of our products are sent direct from our manufacturers or placed on a pre-order basis and will not follow our delivery options, times or rates below (PLEASE NOTE: These products are marked as such on the product page with delivery times but not necessarily in the checkout page). Due to complexities in shipping and maximum dimensions some items placed with the carrier Yodel will need to go via an alternative large parcel courier, for this we use Furdeco and you will be notified of this via your despatch email with tracking information. It is not possible to ship items to PO Box addresses. A guide of delivery rates are outlined below.

* There may be an additional charge for items over 30kg delivered to these areas which have to be sent via our pallet courier or require a specialised large parcel courier. If you would like to know whether there will be an additional charge for your address and the items you would like to order then please contact us via our online contact form. If there is an additional charge for your order then we will always contact you before despatch to confirm that you are still happy to proceed. Orders with multiple items which take your order over 30kg it is sometimes possible and more cost effective for you to place two separate orders which are both under 30kg. Please note we are unable to ship most greenhouses to these domestic destinations, if it is possible these will incur additional delivery charges. We can no longer offer pallet deliveries to Northern Ireland, if an order received can go via an alternative carrier then we will do so, if the only option for the item is to be shipped on a pallet then regrettably we would need to cancel and refund your order in full.

DELIVERY TRACKING & TERMS

We endeavour to dispatch goods the same day your order is received when an order is received before 12:00pm, except items where a longer delivery is quoted or is coming direct from the manufacturer. All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges, unless specified otherwise.

Deliveries sent via our courier service are trackable once despatched from us and a valid email address is provided at time of ordering, tracking is through a third party service and Keengardener Ltd cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies. In most cases our courier service will give a 1 hour time slot in which the parcel will be delivered. Tracking is only available on items despatched through our courier service and not with items sent through Royal Mail, for more information on this please contact us.

Delivery times provided are estimates and we are unable to guarantee delivery dates as deliveries are made using 3rd parties.

An email will be sent to you on the afternoon your order is despatched from us, on the morning your delivery is scheduled to be delivered you will receive another email with an estimated time of delivery.

We advise against booking 3rd parties to carry out any work relating to your goods until you are in receipt of your goods and the goods have been checked.

SPECIAL ITEMS & FREIGHT PALLET DELIVERIES

Some larger items are sent out on freight/pallet service to avoid damage in transit these are delivered on a kerb-side drop basis - we advise two people to be present at the time of delivery to be able to lift items from the kerb side to your house. It is your responsibility to inform us if your delivery address has restrictions which would prohibit the driver to deliver such as "no parking" or "on a red route" etc. as if we are not informed you can be charged a redelivery fee or be responsible for paying any fines incurred to facilitate your delivery. If you have been informed of a delivery date and you are not available to take your delivery, then you will be responsible to pay a re-delivery fee. Pallets are non-returnable. You will receive contact either via e-mail or phone in relation to delivery of your order to ensure someone will be at the address to to take delivery. All freight/pallet deliveries will require a signature on delivery and are delivered on weekdays only (not bank holidays or weekends) usually between 9am - 5pm. a delivery time is not provided. 24 hour deliveries are possible but must be requested and are all day deliveries.

Some items we sell do not always follow the estimated delivery times or pricing outlined above, this can include products that are sent direct from the manufacturer or require a specialised courier who's rate vary, usual delivery times for these items are clearly communicated on the product listing and pricing shown in the checkout prior to completing your order.

Ceramic grills must be fully inspected immediately on arrival and any damage must be notified on the couriers documentation, even if this means the courier is kept waiting.

Why recycle?
Unwanted electrical equipment is the UK’s fastest growing type of waste.

Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.

We’re proud to support your local authority in providing local recycling facilities for electrical equipment.

To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with this symbol) in your bin.

What is WEEE?
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items.

How are we helping?
In the UK, distributors including retailers must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. As a responsible retailer, we have met the requirements placed on us by financially supporting the national network of WEEE recycling centres established by local authorities. This is achieved through membership of the national Distributor Take-back scheme (DTS).
