Wildlife World Dome Hedgehog Home
The natural, mesh-free Dome shelter offers hedgehogs and other mammals a safe retreat from the many hazards of modern life – including garden strimmers, forks and tools, pets and other predators such as badgers and foxes. A felted waterproof roof covered with a rattan finish gives the Dome a natural appearance.
With a large 460mm diameter family space it features a sturdy rust-proofed steel frame with a water-resistant roof liner, a predator defence tunnel and an attractive natural material finish. Natural materials may vary seasonally.
Siting
Choose a quiet position out of the prevailing wind in an area with some nearby vegetation cover (areas of the garden with slugs provide a natural food source) Cover with twigs, leaves and brushwood (+50mm thick) for insulation and spread some leaves/short grass inside the box.
Ensure the dome home is covered with dry leaves and brushwood during winter hibernation.
If there are badgers or boisterous dogs around, the Dome may be firmly anchored using 2 – 4 tent pegs hooked over the metal frame and driven into the ground.
All wildlife products should be checked annually for damages, loose elements and cleanliness during winter.
NOT SUITABLE FOR SICK OR RESCUED HEDGEHOGS THAT REQUIRE REGULAR INSPECTION.
IF FEEDING HEDGEHOGS ALWAYS LEAVE A BOWL OF FRESHWATER

To ensure that our designs are fit for purpose, our design team works with an extensive network of wildlife experts to develop unique products which include many innovative features, ensuring that species using the products will gain the fullest benefit from the design to encourage habitation, aid its survival in the wild and in turn contribute to boosting the populations of many insects, birds, mammals & amphibians.
Our products are extensively tested at our base in Chavenage and also in our wildlife woodlands in the heart of Devon. During this testing process we are able to monitor prototype performance and fine-tune features over the test period - this ensures that by the time the product finally goes to market, it is fit for purpose and ready for use by wildlife.
Keengardener Ltd offer replacement or refund on faulty goods within the first 30 days of receipt. Keengardener Ltd offer a replacement on faulty goods after 30 days but within their respective guarantee period, if a replacement is not possible a full or partial refund will be offered inline with fair use. Guarantee period is 1 year unless otherwise stated.
In accordance with your rights to a "cooling off period" under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 SI 2013/3134 you can cancel your order and return the goods at any time until 14 days after you receive the goods and we will refund any payment made by you to us for the goods. Any goods returned must be unused and in re-saleable condition.
If you want to cancel your order you must notify Keengardener before returning any items.
Please note that the right to return goods which are not faulty does not apply to any goods which have been made to your own specifications.
The cost of the return of any faulty goods will be borne by Keengardener. We shall be entitled to charge you for the costs of returning goods which are not faulty.
Following notification that you wish to return the goods in return for a refund as described above, any payment taken by us in respect of the goods will be reimbursed to you within 30 days.
Due to product development, actual models may occasionally vary slightly from the details on the website, but remember you may return anything within 14 working days of receipt of the goods, if you are not 100% satisfied. You must notify Keengardener before returning any items.
Your rights under this Returns Policy are without prejudice to any rights under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 SI 2013/3134.
