In this guide, we take a look at Webers gas barbecue range from top to bottom, examining the different models, and finding out exactly what it is you get for your money.
Spirit Classic
The entry-level gas barbecues from Weber fall under the Spirit Classic series, and whilst they might be at the low end of the range, they are anything but ordinary.
Available in 2 and 3 burner configurations, youll get a dependable and well-designed barbecue with porcelain-enamelled cooking grates and stainless steel burners, alongside folding side tables (2 burner only), innovative Crossover ignition, and Flavorizer bars. In addition, youll also get six tool holders and a built-in thermometer as standard.
All models in the Spirit range also come with an industry leading 25 year limited warranty.
Spirit Original
Upgrade to the Spirit Original models, and the difference is in the details, like the porcelain-enamelled cast iron cooking grates, sleeker styling and enclosed cart with painted doors and handle.
At the top of this category, youll also find the E-320, which includes a useful side burner, complete with protective lid.
Spirit Premium
Rounding out the top of the Spirit range is the 3-burner Spirit Premium, which is packed with clever extra features and improvements to set it apart from the rest of the category.
These include the Gourmet BBQ System grate, which can be removed and interchanged with a full range of accessories to open up a new world of cooking performance. Choose any Genesis, and youll get front-mounted controls, stainless steel burners, porcelain-enamelled Flavorizer bars and cooking grates, and impressive output, designed to deliver perfect tasting barbecue food. Design wise, they look stunning, and are available in a range of different colours to suit your individual style.
In the Genesis range, you can also choose from models fitted with an integrated Sear Station, for picture perfect steaks that look as good as they taste. For added security and peace of mind, all models in the Genesis range come backed up by a 25 year limited warranty.
Summit
As the name suggests, the Summit models sit firmly at the top of the Weber range, and as soon as you see one, youll know why.
